Dr. Dana Van Pelt, PT, DPT, MBA, ATC
Physical TherapistDana is the founder and owner of the Palm Beach Institute of Sports Medicine, established in 1980. He has degrees from: Ithaca College, Stony Brook University, Nova Southeastern University, and Temple University. These combined clinical and business backgrounds have provided the requisite training and experiences for his management of professional, collegiate, and high school athletic health care programs. His innovative and creative spirit combined with his work beside astute colleagues provides the fabric for all that exists at the Palm Beach Institute of Sports Medicine. Dana actively examines, evaluates, and treats patients. His sub-specialty areas of concentration are orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy. He and his colleagues take great pride in assisting students in their advancement of higher learning. Dana is a Clinical Instructor for our physical therapy students.
Dr. Matthew Butler, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Physical TherapistMatt has been a practicing manual physical therapist for over 15 years. He is originally from the Chicago area. In 1997, Matt received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Purdue University. After a brief career in genetics, he went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 2005. After graduation, Matt worked for a number of years in Pilates-based rehabilitation specializing in spine and sports conditions. Then, in 2010, he completed a Fellowship for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Matt holds certifications in Graston, Strength and Conditioning, Pilates Rehabilitation as well as manual therapy. Matt and his family are happy once again to call South Florida home.
Jeffery Duplessis, PT
Physical TherapistI was born and raised in South Louisiana. My wife and I moved to South Florida in 1990 and I went to Physical Therapy School at Florida International University and Graduated in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. I have focused my study on Orthopedic and Sports injury prevention and recovery management. Using a hands-on approach with Symmetry Restoration and Muscle Activation along with various Asian Techniques to decrease pain and dysfunction. Which allows the patient to return to exercises and strengthening at a quicker pace. I have also taken courses in Craniosacral Technique which is a light touch approach to muscle release. I have traveled with NFL and Professional Tennis Players as well as working with NBA players on a private basis. I have also worked in chronic pain management settings which gave me a good foundation on treating patients at all functional levels.
Dr. Omar Dahman, PT, DPT
Physical TherapistOmar received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago. Returning home to South Florida, he is interested in orthopedics and is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best physical health through evidence-based treatments. Outside the clinic, Omar enjoys watching the Miami Heat, playing video games, rock climbing, and spending quality time with friends and family. He hopes to bring a blend of expertise and enthusiasm to his practice.
Dr. Raja Siddiqui, PT, DPT
Physical TherapistRaja earned his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida before completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine – Miami. While he is skilled in addressing a wide range of rehabilitation injuries and diagnoses, he has a particular interest in orthopedics and sports medicine. Raja has experience training athletes across various levels, from professional and collegiate to high school and youth. In his spare time, he enjoys watching his favorite sports teams, spending quality moments with his family, and staying active himself. "My mission is to guide patients toward reaching their fullest potential in rehabilitation. I am committed to helping each individual not just recover, but thrive—enabling them to achieve their personal goals and return to the activities they love. By tailoring our approach to each patient’s unique needs, I strive to empower patients well beyond just their injuries."
Dr. Richard Yecora IV, PT, DPT
Physical TherapistRichard is born and raised in Miami Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences at the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!). He then went to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with High Honors at the University of St. Augustine. His professional interests are in orthopedic and sports related injuries. In his free time he enjoys golfing, going to the gym, and attending Miami Dolphin’s football games.
Dr. Jenna Nodarse, PT, DPT
Physical TherapistJenna is originally from New York but has been a South Florida native for most of her life. She received her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy with Honors from the University of St. Augustine. Being an athlete from a young age (mainly soccer), Jenna has had her fair share of injuries and by going through physical therapy as a patient, she developed a love for the field, specifically orthopedics and sports medicine. As a clinician, Jenna believes that movement is medicine and is determined to help all of her patients achieve their functional goals and get back to doing what they love the most. In her free time, she enjoys working out and training for her next marathon, going to the beach, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Kathryn Sadler, MS, OTR/L, CHT
Occupational TherapistKathryn Sadler is a registered and licensed occupational therapist and certified hand therapist. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she has called South Florida home for the past 20 years. She graduated cum laude from FAU with a degree in anthropology and received her Masters degree in occupational therapy in 2012. Since then she has worked exclusively in outpatient hand therapy clinics and orthopedic physicians offices. Her passion is using a holistic approach in helping clients fully recover and return to their activities of daily living.
