Jackie L Burton, BS BA, MPT, LSVT BIG

Jackie has been practicing physical therapy since 1997. She holds a BS in Business/Management from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She worked for Dole Fresh Fruit Co as Manager of Sales Analysis and Administration until Dole relocated to California. She then went back to school and obtained a Masters of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She started her physical therapy career with Bethesda Memorial Hospital in the outpatient physical therapy setting treating mostly orthopedic injuries in addition to other pathological issues. She participated in the Diabetes Association, Parkinson’s Group Meetings and exercise classes, and shadowed doctor rounds for wound treatment in an outpatient setting. She was responsible for the establishment of the Bethesda Outpatient Land and Aquatic Therapy facility in the Boca YMCA. She was the Team Leader there and responsible for running daily operations (land and aquatic physical therapy) for this office in addition to the budgets and ordering the necessary equipment as needed. She has recently received her LSVT BIG certification. In her spare time, Jackie is an avid work out fanatic – she enjoys hiking, swimming, biking, and working out in the gym.
